The question comes back every season and almost always in the same shape: somebody accepted an offer, played a few slips, considers the duty met, and then finds the money sitting there. Deception is rarely behind it and a system fault even more rarely. Almost always it is a condition that was written down but never read to the end, because nobody reads it until something malfunctions.
I took the offer for new players, put on a couple of bets and thought that was that. Now it says the condition is unfulfilled and the window closed a few days ago. I hid nothing, everything went through my own account and my own money. Is this a con, or did I get something wrong and miss it?
Begin with the rules of the offer itself, because the answer is nearly always there. A turnover condition lies behind it: the amount has to be wagered a set number of times, typically only on bets above a minimum odds, and inside a period that runs from the moment of acceptance rather than from the initial deposit. Three items determine the result — how many times, at what minimum price, and by when. Miss even one of them and the funds remain locked, however correctly the rest was handled.

The other half of the picture is who can be reached at all. A company with a permit has a defined complaint route and a body that receives it, so a disagreement has somewhere to go and does not depend on the goodwill of whoever is on the other side of the line. Where none of that exists, all that remains is a thread with support and the hope that somebody feels obliging.
